I hope you all are having a fabulous week, remember with every new day its a great opportunity to create new hopes and dreams. I was commissioned to create a few floral pieces for a client’s wedding which the ceremony took place over the weekend. I was so captivated with the colours which really reminded me of a vibrant summer sunset in all its glory and gave me much joy to get creative with them.
The floral pieces were a combination of yellow-orange Sunset Roses, white Chrysanthemums, Italian Ruscus and to top it all off the addition of Baby’s-breath to create a balance and calming effect.
The colours were much fitting for the vibrant summer time and went well with the theme and mood that the happy couple was aiming for.
I must say self praise is certainly no recommendation and i am presently tooting my own horn, i was truly pleased with the results and so were the couple.
How could I really forget to include the orange spider flower( this was sprayed on the outer edges with orange to create an ombre effect, these were incorporated within the bouquets to achieve a slightly tropical effect.
The Corsages and Boutonnieres for the groomsmen and mothers of the couple were the added bonus to the bouquets, a splash of blue sprayed chrysanthemum was added to some. This would hold true to the colour scheme the happy couple had chosen for their big day.
